The Sea Trade Port is implementing an investment project to modernize production. Its goal is the creation of a unified technological complex for transshipment of cargo on the territory of the ICC. The project includes work on both the coastal and marine parts. At the moment, work is underway to design a coal unloading zone. In the coming months, equipment deliveries are planned. The construction of new facilities in the port will be carried out without stopping the main production of the ICC. The offshore part of the project provides for the reconstruction of berth No. 10 (according to the previous system No. 8) in cooperation with the Federal State Unitary Enterprise, which is stipulated by the provisions of the Federal Target Program "Development of the Transport System of Russia (2010-2015) and the Long-Term Program for the Development of the Russian Coal Industry for the Period until 2030." The port will have to increase the length of the berth to 210 m, take out the cordon line into the sea by 58 m from the existing berth and form territory by backfilling part of the water area, while the storage area of the berth will increase by 9000 sq.m. up to 40 thousand tons. Automation and application of modern transshipment technologies optimize not only the production process, but also logistics at the port. Reconstruction of berth No. 10 and the coastal part in the rear of the same berth form a single technological complex linking all production processes from the arrival of cars from the Nakhodka station before loading cargo onto ships. The coastal part of the work includes the installation of a modern coal transshipment complex, as well as treatment facilities, a railway network, and a transmission line. This will improve environmental performance, increase port cargo turnover, and increase the safety of the rolling stock. Thanks to the reconstruction of power lines, the volume of permissible electricity consumption will double, which will give new opportunities for the development of transshipment facilities of the enterprise. The implementation of the project will also increase the capacity of the railway in the winter. The coal transshipment complex will include a car dumper, which will make it possible to abandon the grab unloading of cars, as well as a thawer and a cultivator, designed to facilitate the handling of bulk cargo at low temperatures. A stacker - a self-propelled stacking conveyor will form coal depots. In the future, grabs will replace loaders, which will be involved in the loading of bulk cargoes on ships. It also provides for the construction of dust screens, the installation of suction units and foam guns, which minimizes the emission of coal dust into the atmosphere. The winner of the tender for the supply of equipment for the ICC was a German company. A contract was signed with her for the binding, procurement and installation supervision of equipment.
